What is an Expander Flange?

An Expander Flange is a type of welding neck flange designed to increase the pipe size at the connection point. Instead of using a separate reducer and weld neck flange, it combines both functions into a single piece. The hub of an expander flange gradually increases in diameter, acting as both a flange and a reducer.
