What is a SORF Flange?
SORF stands for Slip-On Raised Face flange. It is a type of flange that is slipped over the pipe and then welded both inside and outside to provide strength and prevent leakage. The "Raised Face" (RF) refers to the small raised section around the bore which concentrates the pressure on the sealing area, improving the sealing performance.
