What is Stainless Steel 347 Screw?

Stainless Steel 347 screws are niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel fasteners designed to resist intergranular corrosion after exposure to high temperatures. The addition of niobium (columbium) stabilizes the alloy, preventing carbide precipitation during welding or heat exposure, making SS 347 ideal for applications that require long-term service between 425°C and 870°C. These screws provide excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and stress-rupture performance.
